The challenge in this project was to create a story that develops as the shots get closer and closer to the subject. 

In this case, we chose to create a story revolving around the concept of "obsessive love" where there is a couple which is seemingly celebrating their love within a garden.

As the photographs progress, subtle details such as the book "A Rose for Emily" and MISSING posters are more vaguely seen in the background, insinuating a darker reality within the story.

The closer the shot was to the subject, the more visibly intense the scene became as seen in the seemingly territorial look of the girl.

The red glare from the balloons added an extra layer of meaning and was further enhanced during post-processing.
